Solution for Slow copy-paste of Illustrator / InDesign artwork for unused date
Are you a Graphic Designer? Did you fall in such problem of slow copy-paste in Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign? If yes, this post is for you to resolve the problem right now. It is so annoying to a designer to work in a slow environment of Illustrator or InDesign. But sometimes we fall in such problem unexpectedly.
The probably main reason of this slow environment is: older version's data re-open in newer version of adobe Illustrator and InDesign. At that time we can't copy-paste or cut-paste any object of this affected files to any fresh document. If I do, fresh document also will be affected like previous files. And huge unnecessary brushes, symbols and swatches will be copied and pasted.
So, the solution is: First open your affected file. Don't copy any object from this affected file. Just take a new document in Illustrator or InDesign. Then drag and drop the required files into new document. Then active the panel of swatches and click on swatches option and select all unused. Then delete unused swatches. Now all is perfect.
If you use the very latest version of Adboe Illustrator / InDesign CC, It can resolved automatically.
